The QV Strong mission is to support robust community understanding, involvement and transparency into all district planning, programs, and projects. We support active participation, communication, and collaboration between and among all who live in the Quaker Valley School District. We believe parents, schools, families, and community members working together with the School Board will create meaningful partnerships that lead to sustained excellence in our schools and a stronger, more unified community.

QV Strong Steering Committee
Don Birnie - Lived in QV for 43 years. Our kids, Erin Leghorn and Andrew Birnie, are QV graduates, and our three school-age granddaughters are enrolled in QV.
Kirk Fordham - Kirk is the father of Lukas and Levi, both attending Edgeworth Elementary School. Two years ago, his family chose Sewickley as their new home, largely due to the QV School District's reputation for educational excellence.

Hadley Haas - Resident of Glen Osborne since 2008. Mother of Declan and Bennett, both of whom attend Quaker Valley High School.
Kristen Beddard Heimann - Grew up in Sewickley, graduated from QV in 2002 and moved back to the area in 2021. She is a resident of Sewickley borough and has two children that attend Osborne Elementary. Her mother was also a Quaker Valley educator for over 35 years.
Jami & Toby Holles - Bell Acres residents. Jami is a QV Graduate ('91). Parents of Riley and Brody who attend QVHS and QVMS.
Daphne Homer - Bill and Daphne moved to QV in 2018. Our kids, Cambpell and Oliver are current students in Osborne.
Denise Lindsey - Graduated from QV in 2006. Family has resided in the QV community for over 20yrs. Oldest son, Jaxsen, attends Osborne and youngest, Axel, attends Sewickley YMCA.
Tim Merrill - QV resident since 1968; 2 children educated in QV schools, former QV School Board member

Joan Murdoch - QV resident for 38 years, Our children Christina, Tim and Deborah are QV graduates and former school board member and president.
Dave Pusateri - Dave and Dorothy have been QV residents since 1988 where their four children, Meg, Nick, Emmy and Tim attended QV schools. Dave is a past member of the School Board and Facilities Chairman.
Beth Pyle - Sewickley resident since 2008, and mother of Charlie and Sadie who attend QVMS and Edgeworth
Wendy Quattlebaum - QV resident since 2006, and mother of Patrick and Jonathan who attend QVHS and QVMS
Beth Rom - Resident of Leet Twp, mother of 2 QV graduates, both attended QVHS
Meghan Sheridan - Meghan has lived in Sewickley since 2009 and is a mom to four QV students- Connor & Harper at QVMS, and Nora & Quinn at Osborne.
John Stunda - John and Patty have resided in Leet Twp. since 1985 and are parents of QV grads Eryk (’06) and Kaley (’09). Patty is also a QV grad (’75).
Richard Webb - Rich and Jill have been Sewickley residents since 2002. Their twin girls Maren and Grace attend QVMS and son Grant attends QVHS.
Jerry Veshio - Born and raised in the District. Retired QV teacher/coach/administrator. Wife Leslie and two boys (Brian and JJ) all QV grads.
